Dr. Michelle Schofield, affectionately known as Dr. Scho, is the Director of On Demand Telepsychiatry with Qler Telepsychiatry. Dr. Schofield has been with QLER since November 2021.
Dr. Schofield is a board certified adult psychiatrist with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is originally from Atlanta, GA. and her family currently resides in St Louis, MO.
Dr. Schofield is a clinical psychiatrist who currently provides mental health services to adults, geriatric population and adolescents seeking mental health treatment in an emergency department setting as well as performing psychiatric evaluations to medical floors across various healthcare systems.
She is sought after as a keynote speaker, motivational speaker, and seminar facilitator by community organizations, colleges, universities, churches, local news outlets, and various committees due to her advocacy for mental health awareness. In May 2019, Dr. Scho became an author of her first book entitled So Can You See Me? So Can You Hear Me? A stepwise guide to enhance self-awareness with the goal of achieving mental well-being.
Dr. Schofield has extensive experience in both the public and private sector of emergency psychiatry, inpatient psychiatric care, and outpatient mental health services. Dr. Schofield received her Bachelors of Science degree from Howard University in Washington, D.C. She graduated after completing her undergraduate training in 3 years and received recognition as an inducted member to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society followed by graduating with highest honors (Summa Cum Laude). Dr. Schofield pursued her medical school training at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Schofield completed both her internship and residency in adult psychiatry at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
